First visit...What to expect

Your first visit to the Center for Well Being will give you an opportunity to find out if chiropractic care can help you.  You will receive a thorough case history, consultation and examination to make sure that your condition can be helped through the natural healing of chiropractic adjustments. 

Many patients are just looking for the back adjustment and we provide this level of treatment.  The doctor will do a brief examination and evaluate your condition.  Since we are a full service wellness clinic, massage, acupuncture or laser therapy, and simple nutritional suggestions are also optional considerations.

We are happy to provide a no-charge consultation.  This will allow you to meet the doctor and staff with no commitments attached.  If the doctor feels that your case can be helped by the clinic's services, and you would like to proceed to look for the cause of your concerns, a physical examination of your specific condition will be done.   Various procedures such as nerve, joint, muscle, spinal and extremity assessments are routinely included for physical problems.   

The doctor will review your findings in great detail and on the following visit present to you the relevant findings and proposed schedule of care.  You can choose to begin your treatments right away.  If you are in severe acute pain, treatments can be done on the first visit.

For those patients who are coming to our center for health issues that are non-musculoskeletal (fatigue, allergies, digestive problems, etc.), you will be expected to bring a first morning urine specimen for possible analysis.  In addition, the doctor will be performing a Digital Meridian Imaging examination to assess energy organ reserve status in patients with these types of issues.  The patient experiences only a wet Q-tip at the wrist and feet.  In many cases that require further investigation, functional medicine laboratory tests may be recommended.  All of these procedures will be discussed in detail with the doctor.
